STC is a joint venture between Aecon and FCC Canada Ltd. that was selected by Metrolinx to deliver the Scarborough Subway Extension – Stations, Rail and Systems (SSE-SRS) package.

Our Project
The SSE will bring the TTC’s Line 2 subway service nearly eight kilometres farther into Scarborough.
It will extend from Kennedy Station to Sheppard Avenue and McCowan Road, providing quick and seamless transit for those heading into and out of the downtown core and those travelling within Scarborough. The extension will help to reduce travel times and improve access to jobs, schools and other key destinations throughout the city.
The SSE-SRS package includes the construction of three new stations, modifications at Kennedy Station and all the rail and systems to extend Line 2 subway service three more stops.
